To receive an Invitation to study, you should write a letter post-fsf@nau.edu.ua to the Center for International Education IMSO with a request to accept you to the National Aviation University (NAU) to study. Then the most convenient means of communication will be e-mail.
Documents required for the invitation to study:
The cost of providing organizational and consulting services to foreign citizens who wish to study at NAU is 1578 UAH.
Fee of State Enterprise «Ukrainian State Center for International Education»: Complex of services for foreigners-candidates for study in Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine: informational and consulting support of the applicant, insurance of organizational conditions of meetings at the Ukrainian border check point by representatives of educational institutions – 648,00 UAH.
All documents must be certified in accordance with the legislation of the country that issued this document, translated into Ukrainian and legalized.
- Foreigners are admitted to the University based on the results of the entrance exams, which are held by the university’s attestation commissions in several sessions. The level of knowledge is assessed on a scale: sufficient and insufficient. The result of tests based on complete general secondary education is evaluated on a scale from 100 to 200 points.
When entering the 1st year of the EL “Bachelor”, foreign citizens take:
- language exams (Ukrainian, English) depending on the chosen language of study
- mathematics
When entering the 1st year of the EL “Master’s”, foreign citizens take exams in:
- languages (Ukrainian, English) depending on the chosen language of instruction;
- professional exam and, if necessary, a test of educational competencies.
When conducting entrance tests, modern technical means of communication can be used.

- Procedure for receiving applications and documents of foreign applicants
The document and the annex to it on the obtained educational (educational qualification) level, on the basis of which a foreigner is admitted to the National Academy of Sciences, must be certified in the country of its issuance in the manner that is officially used in this country for such certification, and legalized by the relevant foreign institution of Ukraine.
Foreigners entering Bachelor’s degree programs submit the following documents to the NAU Admissions Committee:
- Statement;
- A document (original) and its copy on the obtained educational (educational qualification) level, on the basis of which the admission is made;
- An appendix (the original and its copy) to the document on the previously obtained educational (educational and qualification) level, on the basis of which admission is carried out;
- A copy of a foreigner’s passport document;
- A valid medical insurance policy (except for foreigners who arrived from countries with which agreements on the provision of free emergency medical care have been concluded);
- 8 photo cards (30 x 40 mm);
- A copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if available).
The documents specified in sections 2-3 must be certified in the country of their issuance in the manner that is officially used in this country for such certification, and legalized by the relevant foreign institution of Ukraine.
The documents specified in sections 2-4 must be translated into Ukrainian with a notarized translation and submitted to the university in two copies.
Foreigners who received a basic higher education or a full higher education and are enrolled in the Master’s degree program submit the following documents to the NAU Admissions Committee:
- Statement;
- A document (original) and its copy on the obtained educational (educational qualification) level, on the basis of which the admission is made;
- An appendix (the original and its copy) to the document on the previously obtained educational (educational and qualification) level, on the basis of which admission is carried out;
- The original and a copy of the document, which contains information about the content of the educational program according to the previous degree of higher education, received credits/length of study and success in academic disciplines;
- A copy of a foreigner’s passport document;
- A valid medical insurance policy (except for foreigners who have arrived from countries with which agreements have been concluded on the provision of free emergency medical care);
- 8 photo cards (30 x 40 mm).
- A copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if available).
The documents specified in sections 2-3 must be certified in the country of their issuance in the manner that is officially used in this country for such certification, and legalized by the relevant foreign institution of Ukraine.
The documents specified in sections 2-5 must be translated into Ukrainian with a notarized translation and submitted to the university in two copies.
